As many of the reviewers have also shared, the app is almost unusable due to the frequency of glitches. The weekly ad refreshes back to the top after 2 seconds. This has been a frustration of mine with the app for as long as I can remember. I’ve just decided to give up on it and delete the app altogether.

From day one of downloading this app it has never worked. It’s to a point where I’m going to just delete it. Everytime I go to scroll or click on anything the app glitches out and just clicks random things or scrolls back to the top. They obviously don’t care to fix it either, hence the reviews and nothing being done about it. Save yourself the time and either use a computer or shop in person.

Pages refresh’s every couple seconds keeping you from scrolling down as when it refreshes I takes you back to the top. Also, try a search. Nope, remember that page refresh…can’t type a search term before it refreshes. totally unusable app. Michael’s app works though so all is not lost. Gave it a star but I want my star back!

I am unable to use this app because of the glitches. I’m not able to look at anything because it refreshes every 2 seconds and takes everything back to the top. This is enough to make me not use this app and head on over to the Joanne’s and/or Micheal’s app, where I can look at what I want to buy.

While in the app, searching for an item, scrolling to the list of one particular item the app keeps taking me back up to the top of the list before I get to the item that I’m looking for. I have deleted the app and restored it. I’ve done all of the updates and still have a problem using the app.

You can’t use the app. Y’all need to get a new developer cuz this isn’t even for the birds.

I love hobby lobby and going to it. But this app was not the best it was very slow the search bar was fine and easy but whenever I clicked out of the app it deleted all my items in my cart.

Since the last update, the app has become completely unusable. Constant refreshing, unable to search for anything.

For a few months now, I’ve been unable to use the app. It’s constantly refreshing. Very glitchy. Before I can finish typing a search it starts jumping around and refreshing like it’s having a seizure. Extremely disappointed. Will delete the app. You should have fixed it by now. Apparently you cannot. Perhaps you’ve lost control of your own app to cyber corruption crooks.

Trash. Unusable app. Constant loading every 3-5 seconds on every single page, can't look through search results and products at all. Reputation tracks though.

The app is extremely glitchy. I can’t even get down the page. I was able to get one word in the search bar before it glitched and took me back to the homepage. That’s after getting past the location prompt that I had to close five times. They do not accept tap or contactless payment methods in store. The app is supposed to provide a workaround. But, that’s unsuccessful if customers can’t get anything into their cart.

I love the store, but what is the point of an app for a mobile device when you cannot use the app while mobile? Trying to look at the sale ad while riding in the car, but it’s refreshing every two to three seconds, even when I turn off location sharing, making it unreadable. What good does that do anyone? If I want to wait to see the ad at home or in the store, why would I need yet another app taking up storage space on my phone?!?!

I downloaded the app and when I open it, it just gets stuck refreshing itself for no reason.

It loads fine but as soon as I start scrolling it goes back to the top of the page…. No matter where I’m at on the app. Might as well delete it at this point

Need to fix the glitch in the app. No matter what page you are on it refreshes to the top every 10 seconds. Trying to read speed read descriptions before it refreshes.

I was unsure if it was just my phone doing it but nope. By looking at all the recent comments it’s been going on awhile. You’ve had time to fix it but haven’t. Deleted. Useless app.

I love Hobby Lobby in general, but their app is not the best. Every time I try using it, it won’t let me scroll any further than two items before it sends me straight back to the top. Won’t let me look at anything without sending me straight back to the top. I tried looking to see if there was an update that needed to be done, but it says it has already updated and is still having this problem. Their website, right now, would be easier to use than this app.

Wow I’ve never been so frustrated with a shopping app. Trying to press the button just to answer the cookies question is like playing whack a mole while it jumps on and off the screen. Then I finally get it and it still won’t stop. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. Just wasted 15 minutes. Deleting

The app is literally just the website version of the store except it’s very poorly optimized and doesn’t load or work Half the time you use it. Just use the website it actually works

The first minute I downloaded I knew it was a bad idea. The app was super glitchy and was frustrating to use. Hobby Lobby should learn from their competitors (ex.Michaels). Deleted the app off my phone because it was useless.

I already dislike Hobby Lobby for their company policies. They are the only local store to have certain items, like fabric, so I finally downloaded the app. The app is glitchy and refreshes every few seconds causing me to not be able to look at the item photos or read descriptions before it refreshes.

You can’t search and can’t filter the search! I hate this app

This app is horrible! I’m going to waist my time writing all the issues. Please hire someone competent to fix this! I won’t be using it or ordering for here!

The app is clunky and cumbersome to use. Cannot order things online/from the app to be picked up in store; online/app orders can only be shipped to you (and a large majority of the items don’t qualify for their “Free Shipping” even when you meet the minimum purchase amount). Also you cannot see what your local store currently has in stock. Online shopping/shopping from Hobby Lobby’s app is basically akin to shopping from on Online Only Retailer.

Logs you out every single time you close the app. Search function needs an upgrade and it would be nice if you could tell if items are in stock at your local store.

Been an avid fan of Hobby lobby for years. Even though there was a Michael’s and Joann within a half mile I always went to Hobby lobby. A lot of that had to do with the fact that it was a Christian store, but the other reason was because they always had what I wanted with my crafts, scrapbooking, and home decor. The recent changes they are making are a terrible idea. I understand that even some of the employees are calling it bed bath and crafts. I never went there to buy a toaster or a blender, I went there to buy crafts and scrapbooking supplies, and home decor. Extremely bad management decision. It will definitely cost you a lot of business.

I had something framed, forgot to add something to it. This gentleman get it right out, undid everything for me and then reframed it for me. I love HL and the staff there! Thanks Rashad for a job well done!

One of the employees there that goes by the name Pickle(which I found hilarious and original by the way) was unlike any of the other staff I saw working there. Before she came along I either couldn’t get any help at all or all I got was “ Oh it’s in floral ” which considering it was my first time there and already being overwhelmed was very irritating and unhelpful to say the least. So while aimlessly trying to figure out where floral even was I ran into pickle. She immediately picked up on my anxiety and said “don’t worry I’ll help you, I know this is a huge store and it can be a lot but we’ll get it all figured out I promise” which immediately began to ease the anxiety I was having. Pickle on the other hand personally took me over to the section and made sure I got everything I needed. She was very positive and inviting and to be honest she most definitely goes above and beyond for the customers. I would’ve never went back to that store if it wasn’t for her. Hobby lobby needs more employees like her.

It really seems that this app was written as a high school computer class project and the student received an “F” as in FAILURE and NOT fantastic. - The UI is confusing - The layout a mess - No way to check if an item is in stock at a store unless you call the store - No ordering on the app and picking up at a store The strangest part is that the app allows you to pay using Apple Pay but Hobby Lobby does not take Apple Pay at their physical stores, at least the ones in So. Cal. Why can I pay using Apple Pay in your app, but I cannot pay using Apple Pay in your store? Reminds my of all the major stores that ignored online shopping and technology that are no longer around, this store is like a living dinosaur. I don’t know much about this company but with the way this app is developed, it seems like it’s run by old people ignoring the present, stuck in the past and just putting out an app that BARELY does anything so Hobby Lobby can say “we have an app”. What they don’t mention is that “it barely works”.

You can search items by whether they are in stock in a certain store, you cannot see orders you mad online through a web browser, basic functionality you’d expect with any other store doesn’t exist.

My iPad will not open this app !? Even if I don’t use the app the website still won’t open? It says there is a problem? I’ve cleaned data , I’ve gone through everything and yet can’t get on. My apple phone is fine . My home computer is fine . So what’s the deal ???

In this day and age, an app should be usable. It is actually worthless. You cannot search for a specific item without getting other items that have NOTHING to do with what you are searching for. Learn from Nordstrom’s APP or Macy’s APP-even Michael’s app work better than this. Just get rid of this app unless you are SERIOUS about updating it-it’s worse than the worst app out there.

I had trouble with the website so I thought to download the app only to find out that it’s almost the exact same. I have had problems with searching, purchase history, and just overall user interface.

i should be able to see if the items i want are in stores. it’s 2023, dudes. if you have an app, make it useful. 🤷🏻‍♀️ also the values of the company are trash, but like if i need my stuff, i’ll take what i can get. it’s just like? pick one thing to be bad at. y’know? dont be bad at everything, just be bad at some things like a normal company.

Hobby Lobby used to be my go to store but this app redesign proves they are not listening to what their customers want and in that case I’ll shop elsewhere. App only has a fraction of items showing than what store actually has, the section lists are super short without any way to change count so constantly hitting next page every 6 items, and they still don’t have a pick up option in large cities. I’m over it & deleting app.

This app is not useful whatsoever, it’s very aggravating when I try to look up my order. #1 It never keeps me logged in, #2 it doesn’t have my order history, and #3 when I put in an order yesterday it never sent me a confirmation email but took my money which is concerning. If I never took a screenshot I wouldn’t have known what my order number was, please fix this app

Love Hobby Lobby, just not their app. I want to be able to search for items at my local store and can’t get the app to recognize “my store”. The app is clunky and not precise with searching for items. It’s just lacking usability, ease of use and convenience which are the reasons I download and use an app rather than just going to the website.

Horrible app, had to create a new account even though I had one previously and it said welcome back. Wanted to track my previous order for return info, but couldn’t find it. Too much work.

why have an app but have no login availability so users can check on orders, order directly on account or save favorites? search function needs to also be better.

I love Hobby Lobby, but the app is terrible! When searching for a product, you have to put in EXACTLY what Hobby Lobby calls it, otherwise it brings up totally unrelated items. So frustrating!! Programmers, please work on this! Other online shopping apps are so much easier!!!

Why did you take away the ability to sort yarn by weight? It is t helpful to pick by color, but knowing if it is 3 or 6 sure would help!
